Show some patriotism and fly the St. George`s cross on the 23rd April.
St George`s Day should be a day when all English people come together to celebrate our great nation and have fun. The Irish enjoy a national holiday for St Patrick`s day, and the Scottish celebrate St Andrew`s Day so why should we not celebrate our own Patron Saint and have our own national day recognised? You may not be working on Monday 23 April, but if you are please book the day off work and join thousands of others who want to make St. George`s Day a bank holiday. If we all take a holiday on the same day it will send a powerful message to those in charge. Remember, you don`t need government permission to have a bank holiday, just book the day off work. Happy St George`s Day.
